Happy New Year from NOtoAV

Happy New Year – we hope that you enjoyed the holidays and told lots of people about the NO to AV campaign!

In case you missed them, there were some important announcements from NO to AV over the Christmas period; including over 100 Labour MPs saying they would be voting NO and the launch of our new leaflet.

As a timely reminder of the dangers of a voting system which creates more coalitions, more back-room deals and more broken promises, this week people across Britain have been coming to terms with a rise in VAT – a rise the Lib Dems very publicly condemned before joining the Government. Changing our voting system to AV would mean more of these broken promises – and that’s not the way to restore trust in politics.

With just 118 days to go until 5 May there are still millions of people still to make up their minds. We need your help to make sure that Britain rejects this unfair, complicated and expensive voting system. Click here to get involved with the campaign.
